About Oxford Mencap
Oxford and District Mencap was founded in 1961 by parents of children with learning disabilities.
As a local voluntary group we provide services such as group holidays, evening clubs and fundraising, and rely entirely on donations from our members.
Community
Our weekly 7 O'Clock Club, a popular social meetup for adults with a learning disability running Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm.
Holiday Camps
We operate respite breaks in two tranquil UK settings, helping our members to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime every year.
Fundraising
Crowdfunding, auctions, parties and events, there's always something to get involved with.
