QUIZ NIGHT

OXFORD AND DISTRICT MENCAP HOLIDAYS

On the 15th of April, a group of our wonderful volunteers will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for Oxford District Mencap. This will involve hiking a marathon distance (over 26 miles) with three mountains in it. In order to do it between sunrise and sunset our breaks will be minimal, so it can be a tough challenge. In July last year fourteen intrepid Oxford Mencap volunteers (Jessie, Dan, Alice, Holly, Jack, Nancy, Omolara, Ed, Imi, George, Lara, Laura, Grace and Charlie) took on the notoriously difficult Three Peaks Challenge! They raced the clock to climb the UK’s three highest peaks – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – within 24 hours, and climbed both day and night to conquer these summits!
